The Gents will be singing a concert at Burghley House on 1st October 2011 in celebration of the College’s Quincentenary this year. This is a return visit for us (we last performed there in November 2010) and is particularly special because Lady Margaret Beaufort, the founder of our College, was Lady of Deeping (nearby). William Cecil, who built Burghley House, was also a Johnian.
